If you like to play some paintaball.. And you want your gun (not a
marker) to look like a gun, and not look like a cheesy/shiny "laser
pistol".. Then you might be looking for the Tippmann A-5 Stealth.. This
variation comes with a Flatline barrel that gives the paintball and
extra 100ft. of range.. Cyclone feed system that forcefeeds the
paintballs into the chamber.. Collapsible stock.. Field strippable..
And also comes with the built-in ruggedness of a Tippmann product..
This device has been around for a few years now, but you can now get
the Power Mate in black.. Acts as a
volume control (base brightens as volume increases).. But can be
programmed to act as a jog-wheel for editing video.. Great tactile
feel.. Machined anodized aluminum..

Julian Beever does crazy chalk drawings..
From the right point of view.. The image will pop out.. as if in real
life!.. From other points.. it will look distorted.. You gotta see it
to believe it!..

Relieve your power bar frustrations with the Power Squid.. Gone are the days of
trying to jam your power converters onto the traditional power bar..
This thing can handle five full size power converters without any
qualms..

Finally.. an iPod that I actually want to go out and get.. The iPod
nano combines the best of the iPod Shuffle (small form
factor, flash memory).. and of the original iPod (click wheel,
screen).. Available in 2gig or 4gig.. White or black.. I'm going out
this weekend to get the white one..

Some archi for today:
Inspired by the intimate scale of a Japanese tea house.. And the
compact-
efficiency of a Smart Car.. the Micro-compact
Home is a great study come to life.. This 2.65m cube boasts a
double bed.. A working/dining area.. And a bathroom/laundry/lobby
area.. Storage space.. Sound system.. Flat screen tv.. And climate
control.. The secret is in the "functional overlaps" by use of flexible
furniture and concealable elements.. The first installations are taking
place in the universtiy district of Munich this coming October.. In
time for Oktoberfest!..

And more archi:
The use of graphic design on the Billboard Building has two
purposes.. To bring a sense of greenery to the cityscape.. And also
acts as a sunscreen for this south-facing building.. Nice..
