It's a thing of beauty when I park by chance in a parking stall
numbered G73.. There's also something ironic yet beautiful about a
parking lot without the cars.. Check out Branislav Kropilak's
photography of such garages.. Ironic yet beautiful..
If you love football/futbol/soccer.. Then
you gotta Joga
football/futbol/soccer..

I'm a fan of the Graphic Designed
Lifestyle shirts by Team Manila..
They spin the familiar and iconic symbols of everday life in Metro
Manila into some nice looking tees.. I wants..
The Hackney
Shelf by Ryan Frank uses
help from the public from the East London area to create his mobile
shelving units.. He leaves a blank canvas out.. Comes back after a few
days (post graf/tags/stencils).. And cuts it up to fit into the
system.. And that's what I call co-operation..

Check out the Dime/Jordans
Gallery.. Peruse all the Jordans of the past to the current
incarnation..
The Tunng
video is similar to the 1STAVEMACHINE
video posted last December.. But different..

Here's a commercial for the
Adidas +F50 TUNIT which I talked about last January..
Interchangeable upper, chasis and studs allow players to customize it
for different weather conditions and pitches..
Some nice handmade leather wallets at M-A-K-R..
I love the way they are packaged in a really nice wooden box..
Beautiful..
Here's a pendant lamp that is thermotropic
in design.. It's the Faux by Karl
Zahn.. When off.. The petals dangle close to the bulb.. When
on.. The heat created from the bulb makes the petals rise to the
occasion..

Check out Marc
Ecko tagging the Air Force One.. Bold.. And balsy..

The Turntable
by Wiedenmann & Averdiek controls the chaos in one
smooth motion.. A messy desktop to a clean desktop in seconds...

Check out this bendtable by bookhou..
If you get tired of it being straight.. You can bend it to suit another
flavor.. Looks good both ways..

Aya Kato..
One of my favorite artists has updated her gallery..
I love her use of dark, leggy characters.. Contrasted by dynamic colors
and imagery.. A mix of the past with the future-present..

The Sandwichbike
concept comes packed flat in a box.. And you assemble it yourself (IKEA
style).. The main parts of the bike are the two frame plates.. And four
smart-cylinders which house the technical parts.. Which you "sandwich"
together.. It's theoretically twice as cheap to make than a
conventional bike.. But you'll get charged a regular price for it..
Because the extra you pay goes to giving a less fortunate person their
very own Sandwichbike.. Good idea..

Via Gizmag.. This makes total sense.. Musicians can
now go paperless with the MusicPad Pro..
A lightweight pc with an anti-glare screen.. A foot pedal flips the
pages for you.. So you can concentrate on your music play.. Plus store
thousands of songs sheets in one device.. Nice..
The new Freshjive Website
is now up..
Gives you a look into what they have on deck from the Spring Lines to
the Propagandist project and everything in between..

Issue no.3 of Bak Magazine is
now online.. This visual arts mag showcases excellent graphic design
work, illustrations, photographs, and paintings.. Looks like down and
dirty for this issue..
4.7.2006
Check out the work from one of my favorite artist/designers.. TrenteSix..
French for 36.. Short for 360 degrees.. Mixes architecture/sculpture
with graphism.. Uses recycled tech parts for spice.. Which equals some
tasty work.. Nice..

The April issue of Encore is now out..
Very intersting article on FF DIN font.. Plus matters on design,
photography, illustration, etc..
