I recently acquired an old-school Minolta 110 Zoom SLR (circa 1976).. I must say that I really like the form factor of this sub-miniature camera.. Good combo of black and metal.. It realy feels good in your hands.. Shoots on 110 sub-miniature format film.. Has a built-in zoom and macro lens.. Manual aperture controls.. and built-in hot shoe.. Still have the first roll in-camera.. but will post photos when the roll is done..

Funny thing is that most people who see it think it's a current era digital camera.. and are surprised to find out that it's a film camera.. The nice thing is that it's an SLR that is still small enough to be considered quite portable.. Minolta should make a digital SLR in this form/size.. Hmmmmmmm..

New on the scene.. Fresh out of Van-city.. Have a look at the tees from HOPE (Heaven On Planet Earth).. Sweet graphics.. good steez.. and the cred to back it up.. They pay lots of attention to detail and quality.. Keep your eye out for these guys.. As they have plenty of other items in the works.. and they're already making a dent out there on the street..

These things are perfect for after a long day of climbing.. hiking.. skiing.. riding.. Also great for camping and travelling.. What makes these perfect are that they are light (approx 7.5oz).. the uppers are super breathable/comfortable and give you that barefoot feel.. but with the protection and grip of a rubber sole.. The bonus is that you can roll 'em up and pack them with you (carry case included) for your next activity.. Got a pair for myself.. And a pair for my wife.. Perfect..
