If you want to get a nice view into streetwear and the whole culture of it all.. I suggest getting yourself a copy of StreetWear by Steven Vogel.. Rather than being a "guide".. it's more of a casual/relaxed look into what was going on in 2006.. 300plus pages of photos.. interviews.. and short stories.. A gotta get for sure..

Kel-Tec has come up with their own bullpup for 2007.. Called the RFB.. It comes with an interesting ejection port (spent shells fall forward instead of off to the side).. so that their bullpup can be easily used by a left or right handed operator without any mods needed.. Looks like it will be available in rifle and carbine formats..

Uppercut (website still under construction) is a Vancouver based company that produces some very nice men's wear.. Nice sharp look with unique cuts (and pockets).. yet Jedi enough to feel comfortable in it.. I especially like their outerwear.. which functions well in the unpredictable Vancouver weather system..
In the meantime.. You can check the Uppercut Spring 2007 collection here..

Found this great
Monotracer video!!!..
(click above the words "Zum Video" after the jump)..
Shots of it banking through the twisties.. Flying down the freeways.. How it doesn't fall when at a stop.. Explanation of its design, history and fabrication.. etc.. Very informative.. Especially if you understand German.. If you don't.. Just look at the pictures in motion.. And still drool..

A couple of games that might be of interest to you..
SketchFighter 4000 Alpha plays like a classic space ship game.. With a highschool notebook look and feel.. It's a sketchy game for sure.. In a good way.. Ahem....
And you also might want to try Get The Glass.. A comedic game that makes you feel invicibles.. Or was it incredibles?.. Anyways.. It's free.. And it's funny..

Really like Eno Henze's macro-atomical mural.. Der Wirklichkeitsschaum -> The Reality Foam.. Good from far.. And also good up close.. What is also really interesting about this piece is that it is actually made up of almost three hundred separate A3 prints stitched together using vvv software..

Just by looking at it.. You know that the RED ONE modular digital video camera system means business.. Using its RED Mysterium sensor and RED lenses.. It can catch footage better in resolution and color than 35mm film.. At $17,500.. it's a pretty hefty price for most.. But it's waaaayyy cheaper (by around $100,000) than the current cameras that the real movie-makers use..

Visit the blog of Ashley Wood.. As one of my favorite illustrators.. it's nice to see previews of what he's up to..
Now available to the public.. The FN PS90 is the civilian version (semi-auto with extended 16inch barrel and 10/30 rounds capacity) of the military/police-only
FN P90 (select fire auto with short barrel and 50 rounds capacity) .. This new radical bullpup design first came out in the early 90's.. And was intended as a self-defense weapon for vehicle/artillery/tank crews.. But they are actually more popular as an offensive weapon for many spec-ops/assault teams around the world..
